They've said they've got additional police standing by and ready to go in Tottenham.

Shouts of fuck the police from the crowd outside the court.

#Duggan is the number one trending topic on Twitter in London right now.

I'm sure GCHQ will be listening in, so nothing to worry about. Razz

I sat there laughing while they were talking about the severity of the situation. Where I grew up that was childs play. We had real riots, not those pretend ones you lot had.

While you lot were debating the morality of plastic bullets, they were an almost daily event back home. Oddly enough a lot of the extra troops you lot gathered for these "riots" came from back home.

just seen the news when the Copper came out to read his statement
couldn't hear a word he said, all I could hear were people screaming Murderer Murderer constantly drowning him out

personally I can't see how they reached that verdict if he had ditched the gun as they say
but the cop said he had the gun in his hand as he shot him, and no one saw him throw the gun as he fell
yet he was surrounded by cops at the time Thinking

There won't be any riots. Its January, its wet and the schools are not on holiday.

So he may have been a drug dealer (allegedly), and had got a gun for protection (am I reading it right?), and people are pissed off because he got shot in technically a game of cops and robbers.... am I getting the idea of what this is all about?

Was his gun some kind of magic tickle stick or something?

No sympathy what so ever really... Seems fairly obvious he was involved in gun crime. I wonder if he'd of been so considerate in the use of firearms as people expect the police to of been Rolling Eyes

Play with fire and you get burned. Maybe it was a bit of a rush response and reaction from the police - but if you don't go around carrying guns, you probably won't get shot.

There was no concrete proof that he had a gun at the time, hence the rage. There was something seemingly shady occurring, and the police in the area when all Jean-Charles De Menezes at him.

I'm glad they reached this verdict, the scum that came out to "support" this cunt had no objective other than to destroy and steal.

businesses, homes and monuments had been needlessly defaced or destroyed.

Criminal gets shot..... Zero fucks given......

The result of the inquiry was that it was 'probable' he had a gun on him before the incident. If it had been a firearms possession charge he would've got away with it on reasonable doubt. Instead the police shot him and may've planted the gun afterwards.

This is rather enlightening. I think the only reason it was considered probable is because police are just believed.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/mark-duggan-inquest-was-he-really-armed-were-the-police-under-threat-all-the-key-evidence-9046789.html

Looks t the quality of evidence he was a wrong un...

Quote:
A police report suggested that there was "a wealth of current reliable intelligence" that he had ready access to guns. However, officers accepted that some of the intelligence was of a quality equivalent to someone hearing a conversation in a pub.

So some people heard he was a wrong un, told the police... It sounds to me like a "we've ballsed up, find every shred of evidence you can that'll stop us looking too stupid".

He was scum. We're better off with him 6 feet under.

I don't mind if it all kicks off again, I just hope they keep the rioting to Tottenham, maybe a flare-up in Brixton.

The shops that were destroyed last time were the shit shops that scum frequent - bookies, shitty corner shops, chicken shops, PC world. I don't mind those premises being smashed up again.

Anything to go by? Or just believing the leaked police reports that turn out to be based on summat someone heard down the pub?

They also shouted "No justice, no peace".

As you would expect the BBC coverage was suitably biased to the left liberal socialist guardianistas and had lots of claims of "racism" thrown in.

Oh, it's cultural diversity Thumbs Up

Quite true, nothing wrong with them smashing up their area. We should be culturally tolerant and remember that if they wish to live in a burned out and destroyed neighbourhood that is their choice. As part of respecting that cultural diversity and enrichment the government should make absolutely no attempt to repair any damages caused.

I totally Agree, HOWEVER, once they have smashed up their area, they will boo hoo and tell anyone who will listen (bleeding heart lefty liberals) how they are oppressed by failure to reinvest in their area that THEY smashed up.
And of course they will want a nice new shiny place to live, possibly very close to you Sad

Riots and looting on that scale? Deploy the army.

Riots or police extra-judicial executions?
