'Looks legit to me....may be worth asking if it's seen much track time...and why he/she's selling it too.
I can't understand why people don't make a bit more effort with their spelling for adverts ____________________ Space Is Deep |

My friend got a 97 with 30k Miles for 650. Great deal from Margate. The seller's wife didn't want him on the bike mind you. He was a paramedic and barely rode it.
Deals to be had but as the weather gets better, you may see the price go up. Still a good month or two though. ____________________ Hit the G spot. |

Doesn't look too bad, never ceases to amaze me how people take so little effort in 1, preparing their bike for sale and 2, formulating a decent advert.
The guy could have given the wheels a good scrub and given the bike a bit of spit and polish. Because of this I'd be worried what condition the brakes are in as those 6 pot tokio need lots of tlc. Have the chain and sprockets seen better days ect.
The fact that the advert states a bit of work has been carried out on the bike is a good thing. I'd ask if the valve clearance has ever been done, as this is a big job (expensive at a garage) and causes bad running, stalling ect.
For the money though it doesn't seem too bad, I'd try and get a couple of hundred knocked off if you like it when you see it.
I've just sold my G2 which was in v good condition, all original paint ect, very few imperfections.
All old mot's (23000 on clock) and lots of invoices for work done inclucing £350 I spent on a valve service. Brakes and forks recently reconditioned.
I got £1550 for mine so that's a reference point.

Not bad, but personally I would go for at least J1 model.. and for a bit more preferably A1P.
I'm sceptical about those brakes working well with only pads changed ____________________ Current Bike: Yamaha XSR900 Previous bikes: Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, Kawasaki ZX-6R Ninja, Aprilia RS125 2-stroke |
