Ordered a chain and sprockets on Tuesday for next day delivery. Looks like I'm not gonna get them until next Tuesday.

Bike is sat in a mates garage with it's chain cut off, it's sprockets off, and the rear wheel off!

How can a company advertise next day delivery on orders before 3pm on items in stock, then just completely fail to deliver on that promise!

Apparently they have 2 warehouses, my parcel is in their secondary warehouse awaiting pick up to be dropped at the primary warehouse before being sent out for delivery!

Utterly useless, I'm absolutely fuming!

I assume the charge for next day delivery has been refunded?

The charge for the entire delivery has been refunded, I already combined yesterday when it hadn't arrived, they then told me it would be here today!

Order from somewhere else and you'll have it on Monday.

www.bandcexpress.co.uk is where I'd go.

Wemoto, 9/10 next day delivery. Only one time did they not and that was the day after, I think it was near Christmas though.

Why remove everything without having the spares first? It's a 1 hour job, it's hardly like starting an engine rebuild that can take many hours before ordering parts.

That makes sense, I'd at least wait until getting the dispatch notification e-mail.

Had the day off, away at weekend, it was promised today, so figured I would strip the bike down this morning, then fit the new parts this afternoon.

In hindsight, yes it seems like a daft idea, but yeh!

Pretty poor if they don't hold plenty of stock of a common consumable part for a popular bike. Tut Tut

Talking of demon tweeks.......a mate of mine went there for some new tyres...a 100 mile round trip! Did a nice phat burnout to finish of his old set until the canvas was showing and about an inch wide.....walked into the store to get his new set.......at which point he found he'd left his wallet at home........how much of a k@#b did he feel when he had to call the recovery truck to bring them back home!

Still though thats pretty poor service, refund or not they should keep track of their stock.

Went with a generic ebay set in the end. Going to be buying a grinder in the week to remove the old one so i figured it should hopefully be upto riveting it even if it might be a cheaper n weaker tool Whistle hopefully doesn't disintergrate after one rivet Embarassed

I use Wemoto on a regular basis, but the majority of their stuff doesn't arrive next day for me. Usually 2-3 days after ordering. I don't mind too much 'cause I can only work on it at the weekends.

Basically if you want it there and then with no risk of delays, go pick it up from a local shop and pay a little extra for the service.

Went to Demon Tweeks on the weekend, bought a 14T front sprocket for my bike, going down 1 tooth from the standard.

Took it to my local mechanic in London and £60 later I find they have given me the wrong sprocket, won't even fit my bike.
I am awaiting a reply from them.

I think something has changed a Demon Tweeks. I've used them for years for stuff and had no problems at all. However recently I tried to buy some ACF-50 from their eBay store (as it was cheaper then through their website) but it never arrived, despite them telling me they had dispatched it twice. I eventually got a refund and went elsewhere but it's made me wary of using them for anything I need in a hurry.
