Doing a wheelie is illegal no matter what public road you are on. The police will class it as not being in full control of the vehicle.

Knee down could be seen as careless driving but as far as I know its not illegal. Just silly looking on the streets.

If you manage to wheelie and knee down together AND stay on the bike, definitely get a copy of the 'evidence'!

Unlikey to have an issue if you're not annoying anyone.

Stick your baffle in or stock can back on and do it on Sundays. That way any people that would be there probably won't be and the ones that can hear you won't get too annoyed by you revving about all afternoon.

Whenever I've wanted to mess about in car parks/trading estates I always try and limit my time there to no more than half an hour. Enough time to do what you want to do but not long enough to annoy anyone enough to call the cozzers.

cool, I did try few but using the clutch technique in first gear and man it is scary Very Happy

I am getting used to it now.

knee down, I have a lot to learn.

I have heard putting hair spray on number plate does stop cameras from taking a pic of your number plate . it makes the pic blurry

If you don't annoy anyone then nobody will have a reason to report you to the police.

There is or used to be a spray, or maybe a film that did this, but traffic car carputers wont see it either and you would get bend over.

I heard it went to court about whether your numberplate legally has to be photogenic or not... AFAIK they made a law against ''preventing a speed camera from doing blah'' something along those lines but would like to know the actual outcome if anyone knows

Trying anything to make your plate unreadable is perverting the course of justice.

Then so is wearing a hoodie? Surly if everything I'm doing is legal then Im perverting nothing?

Scratch that, it's a 'legal' requirement to have a number plate. The question is, is it a legal requirement to have a photogenic number plate?

EDIT: Im tired cba to explain what i mean

also heard that infrared will stop it taking pic but I guess it is risky as if you have a police with ANPR and see you number plate as blurry then you are in trouble .

You might be up for going equipped to offend, or conspiracy to offend, or conspiracy to pervert. There is no good reason to prevent image capture of your number plate other than for nefarious reasons.

Good or not, there are plenty of 'reasons' - be it a case of aesthetics (small plates), or maybe even trying to stop others cloning your plate, reporting you when you've done nothing wrong to cause trouble and so on.

I've always believed that if your plate is really small, the letters are spaced or fonted in an unreadable way or it has any fancy anti plate reading crap, that your better off with a false plate really.

Having said that I once knew of a guy that had a new ZX12R and one of the first mods he did was fit a flip up number plate, that had a different registration when activated.

Not really, one is perverting the course of justice i.e. A proper big boy crime, the other is just a slapped wrist telling off, a fine, and a rectification notice if they're feeling especially shitty.

Traffic offence, no?

The plate has to conform to a certain standard of lettering, having something different is traffic but not criminal. I think.
