never stops to amaze me... what other business could you have while driving except looking at the road and traffic in front of you at least! ... whatever it was, sure am happy the bikers were not hit, would have been a lot of bad news ....

I believe the Murkans are taught not to remain central at junctions etc. as being rear ended is one of the main causes of motorcycle deaths over there.

Good advice really (in non urban environments).

That's an old clip, it's a funeral cortege going the other way and in parts of the US they will stop to show respect like that.
I think the biker was stopping to the side for same reason.

Would of filtered past generally speaking so I'd like to think I'd of been fine, but something like that you unfortunately don't have control of and your life is in the balance of the competency of the idiot behind you

There's no way in telling how far away that truck was from the car but as there was at least 2 -3 seconds after the bike stopped that you hear the brakes being slammed on, the truck must have been a good distance back.

So I don't know what the driver of that truck was doing to not have seen the car or the bike stop?
