2 brothers murdered their stepdad who had threatened to get an axe out and attack their Mother. Stepdad has previous for getting an axe and attempting to swing it at one of the brothers.

Full story (needs reading) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2566064/Schoolboy-14-stabbed-stepfather-SIXTY-times-frenzied-attack-nearly-severed-head-slept-living-room-sofa.html

IMO, they were scared, living with that kind of person can drive you to things such as this. There's a couple of iffy bits in the story but when under immense pressure at that age you don't always think. Got what he deserved.

Attacking someone whilst they are asleep? Hello clinky.

Yeah, get what you're saying but putting kids in that position... They aren't going to want to call the police incase matey finds out and axes them, to them, this was their only way to freedom. Which will ironically end up in their freedom being spent inside a jail cell Thumbs Down

But if you ban knives, only illegal immigrants will be able to cut up their swan and chips.

Side point:

I believe knives are legal to carry over here - not 100% sure but everyone does anyway.

I bought one for the garage and forgot to take it out my pocket... In three days I must've used it more than 10 times.

Some days I use a knife, sometimes I use a spoon to stab idiots with.

And your point is?

I distinctly remember having very vivid "I'm going to creep up on that cunt while he is asleep and stab him with a carving knife" fantasies around the same age, about my stepfather.
