Brilliant boots, everyone I know who's had them, liked them.
They are stiff to start with, but they become very comfortable and extremely hard wearing; I've got the similar Trial Zeros (because I'm a tart and I wanted white ones) and they were comfortable enough for me to wear round the MCN show for a couple of hours recently, plus an hour there and back riding.
They are a bit pricey, but they are also quality and that costs. although there's plenty of other stuff that's much dearer and no better made.
AFAIK the catches are replaceable and watch out for the sizing, Sidis tend to come up a bit small and narrow and I've ended up going a full size larger than normal. ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........

I actually hated mine for the first week or so of using them! But now...I feel uncomfortable if I wear anything else. |
I was pretty much the same and then I had the reverse problem wth a pair of A* road boots I bought; very comfortable in the shop, now less so.
I should've waited for the Sidis I went in for, but they didn't have in my size.
@slowlydoesit I've had a few pairs of Sidis since the 80s and I've found them to be pretty consistant, if one model of MX/road boot fits and breaks in in a particular way, they all do.
Oh and OP, shop around for price; I think mine had a list of £215, there were a few places selling at just under £200 and I ended up sourcing them on the net, from a little shop miles away for £180.
I did give my local supplier the chance to price match, or even get close, but they didn't want to play. ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........
