I think you need to look at your riding skills rather than the ethnicity of drivers.

It's always gonna be a good topic when the OP starts off with, "I'm not being racist but..."

You have had more accidents in 18 months, than I have had in my 10 years on the road.

You need to evaluate your abilities.

As a counterpoint, I have driven and ridden past millions of other motorists, a significant portion of whom will have been Asian and Indian.

Get this... not a single one of them has ever run into me.

The only accident I have ever had was caused by the elderly wife of a vicar. There is a 100% correlation between my accidents and vicar's wives. They make a nice afternoon tea but can't drive for shit.

My Wife is Asian (Chinese) and in 16 years of driving in 3 different countries has had 1 no fault accident in the UK where some guy drove in to the back of her while she was stopped at traffic lights.

You are an ignorant cunt hope the next accident potatoes you.

In the OP's defense, I too ride the same roads as him and have had no accidents.

Wait, I'm not sure where I am heading with this.......

Isn't marching someone to a cashpoint and demanding money pretty close to mugging them?

Actually there is a physiological difference between Asian eyes and white peoples' eyes.

Its to do with reference markers and masking, plus the scanning is horizontal as opposed to vertical.

It is described in more depth here:

https://www.sharp-sighted.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=85&Itemid=153

However people can adapt due to environmental changes and use a 3rd scanning method.

Of course this does not excuse your bad driving skills.

I think maybe you suffer from:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E2%80%93Kruger_effect

Quote:
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than is accurate. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their ineptitude

I see this in online gaming all the time, WoT is a particular example, <47% win rate players who stay at this level always blame others rather than recognise their own weaknesses and work on them.

Which is the key to perfect practice, recognition of ones weak points and working on them, which is rammed down your neck in teaching. Which is why people who recognise self weaknesses can seem to learn faster.

I also do the same roads as you, the one time I was nudged (which is what it sounds like here), it was a mum in her mummy wagon at mummy time and she just didn't know the size of the thing. I didn't demand money from her, in fact it sounds like you pretty much held her up for money!

I avoid mummy time when walking.

Whoops, mumsnet are going to be all over me now, for stereotyping.

To people claiming it's OP's fault, you weren't there so it's irrelevant how many crashes you have/ have not had as the scenario is different every time. Unlucky about the crash but well done for stopping her. If you feel like a right bastard report her for fleeing the scene of an accident. That'll teach em'.

But Asian and especially Indian drivers are terrible.
Every single time I've been knocked off the driver happened to be Indian or Pakistani.

Now today I was in an accident. Some Indian girl in a vw polo decided to pull into my lane when I was slowing down for the traffic lights. Lucky for me I managed to keep the bike upright between my legs. After the cunt hit me she drove off Shocked. I had to chase her down, then she started shedding crocodile tears once i got her to stop.

Now I looked at the damage, thank God it was minor. Her paint was transferred onto my side panel. I demanded 50 pounds and escorted her to Sainsbury's so she could use the cash point. She then hands over the cash whilst tears were pouring down her face, I felt like telling the bish to stfu.

Now once I got home I inspected the damage again, and guess what the paint that was transferred onto my panel just rubbed off with ease. I felt bad for the bish as she is now down 50 pounds, I hope I've taught this girl a lesson regarding observation.

Beware of the Asians, their food may be nice but they can't drive for shit.

You "Demanded" money and escorted her to a cash point?

I'm pretty sure that what you did there, was mug her.

I hope she goes straight to the old bill you prick.

I'd be more worried about poeple who think it's ok to use intimidation tactics in order to extort money.

Point to note, it was very foggy in our area this morning, thick in places. Is it at all possible that she was struggling to see, therefore as I did this morning I was accounting for other road users' poor obs. Because I had a couple of people pull out on me this morning, but I left extra room and expected them to do stupid shit!

Playing devil's advocate here but I tend to agree, although it's not 'Asians' I find that are dangerous drivers but Pakistanis.

Prince Naz, Lord Ahmed, Amir Khan, it's like a rite of passage for Pakistanis in the public eye to kill people at the wheel of the car.

Isn't it also revealing how places like Birmingham and Bradford have the highest rate of car insurance claims?

If I had a little more time on my hands I'd post up some links about 'cash for crash' scams too, the names and photos tell you all you need to know.

TLDR;

I'm not even being abusive, but every single time illuminateTHEmind has been knocked off, it's been illuminateTHEmind on the bike.

Seriously, when you only passed your CBT 18 months ago, and you're already starting a sentence with the phrase "Every time I've had an accident...", there's a very strong chance that the common factor in all your accidents is YOU.
