Ok, so I have a Honda Nsr 125 2000 plate.

My problem has been happening for the last couple of weeks.. The problem is, when I go to turn the bike off everything goes off as it should apart from the ENGINE?! The engine still runs & I have to use the kill switch to turn it off.

I am quite mechanically minded, so I'm more than happy to solve the problem myself.. But I need some advice/guidance as to what the problem is & how to fix it.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Cheers people!

Sounds like it may be the ignition switch at fault. The bottom part can wear over time and short out.

Thanks for your reply, I'm going to take it apart today and have a look.
Could it be the actual ignition? Or are the wires from the ignition just as common to wear etc. ??

Cheers again.

You have PM.
Reverse of 'fix' would let any-one by-pass your ignition switch!
