 |

Hi,
Have just bought a new front master cylinder brake system for my 125. It was off eBay and hasn't come with any instructions. I have never played with brakes before so I don't want to mess it up and my local bike shop wants to charge between £60 and £90 to do it. This is the item https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/350863917896
A universal manual or video would be perfect but any help is greatly appreciated. ____________________ Si vis pacem, para bellum (If you want peace, prepare for war)

Hi
I would be concerned about the bore of that master cylinder on a typical 125s single caliper. What bike is it for?
Nothing on that listing seems to state the master cylinder bore. Too large a bore and you will have very little lever travel, no feel and need a lot of pressure on the lever to get the brakes to work. Too small a bore and you will have loads of lever travel (potentially enough that you land up without being able to operate the brakes).
All the best
