posted divvy for sale on fb some guy said he wanted it but he seemed dodgy as fuck so I said to meet at train station near my house instead of giving my address... didn't arrange a time or date as I was fishing yesterday.. went fishing checked phone, full of angry facebook messages he had just driven 60 miles to look at it...

he arranged to come down today and he did after checking it over and a test ride he was happy, handed me cash.. £5 short until I mentioned it...

then said he just needs to wait to do his test!

he got his gear on and rode it home.. no insurance no license..

get a text about 3 hours later and an angry facebook "the bikes broken down and pissing oil out I want my money back"

I never lied about it nor did I say its 100% perfect and has no issues.

never had it break down on me only once when my vaccum hose split.

now have about 5 messages demanding money back or hell go to the address on the logbook..

what do?

So troll him into making an actual threatening communication, go down the cop shop and pass it on to them. Don't threaten to do it, actually do it.

As above, you don't want it back. Just reply 'sold as seen', and leave it at that.

There's a lesson here. Speak to any buyer on the phone first and if they sound like a moron, it's not worth the hassle. If it's priced right, it will sell anyway.
