So after all the whining and worrying I managed to pass module 2 with out rider faults.
Luckily for me we just mainly did country road riding and the "town" ride was just a small town you know one with just one main street, and then back to the test centre. He said "so how do you think you did?" I kinda thought oh crap I've failed but replied "I feel quite confident about it" (did seem a good ride and felt relaxed and surprisingly not nervous). He then said "I'm pleased to tell you, you've passed with no rider faults." I wasn't expecting that one if I did pass I was expecting to have some rider faults but managed a clean sheet (Y)
Rode back to the training school and took the 'L' plates off the little CBF, it went quite well, think it felt free not having 'L' plates stuck on it after 2 years.
Now just to get insured for the Bandit and at long last I'll be able to ride a bigger bike Thanks for all the help and advice guys (Y) |

Nice one dude!
No rider faults is impressive. It makes me smile that I got more faults on the mod 2 I passed than the one I failed.
See, you could ride safer than you thought, all those questions about the correct way to act in situations, eh... Day I passed my test; back in the mists of time; I rode up to the cash-point to get some money to go celebrate; it was on the corner of the bank, next to a pub called 'The courtyard' which had a beer garden in the bit in front by the cash-point; it just happened to be full of teen-age girls, and one came over and started asking my mate about the bikes while I was getting money out; "He's got a licence; he'll take you on the back" my mate kindly volunteered, handing over his lid. So, quick, but not TOO quick 2-up lap of the ring road was in order... I got back, to find her mate wanted a go too.... and who was I to refuse.... ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!

Thanks!
Was pretty easy though considering we did virtually no town riding. Straight onto country roads although there was a turn where you have to turn left then immediately right and it's a pretty narrow road, they like that bit because they apparently catch people out with the control of the motorcycle.
I cocked it up on my lesson although I did it a second time and managed to do it, but it was one of my main concerns when doing the lesson. Instructor said you might not even go that way, but we did Got to that bit and I made it round in full control, no wobbling or nothing, I was like . Other than that we just road through a small town but had no box junctions or multi-lane roads like my town does. Might have been a different story if we went round Kettering.
But yeah it feels good to finally have a full licence after 2 years, CBF now looks bare without L plates on it. Taking my brother to college today and then taking my mate on the back of it, but can't go far as alternator is still fucked so battery only lasts 21 miles then it dies. Just to get used to taking pillions now and then when I finally get insured for the bandit (hopefully by the weekend), I'll have to get used to a bike with some power. |

Cool feeling to bin the L plates and not have to worry about getting caught with none on
I failed my Mod 2 the first time, still to this day don't know why I did it but I gave way to cars coming on the other side of the road because there was a lorry parked up on their side, instant fail. I was so pissed off that I did that, I knew it was my right of way but it was like I wasn't concentrating on anything the first time.
Clean sheet the 2nd time around though as well.
