Not just longest single A to B style trip, but also multi-day trips? Tours?
Picture related for me. Orange circles indicate where I camped, usually due to exhaustion (I would just set up the hammock and pass out in it with my leathers still on), H means hammock and T means tent.
Over the time I owned the GPZ500 I put 10,000 miles on it, over half of them were with this trip!

That's a nice bit of riding you've done there.
Hope to do something similar in the next year or two myself.
Currently though, the longest distance I've done was Heysham to Liverpool. Although, I once done about 320 miles in one day on the Isle of Man. I would have gone further but, I kept hitting water in every direction. |

Two long ones spring to mind, although a) I don't know what mileages they were, and b) I know of people who've done much more in one hit, as I'm sure there'll be people here who have too.
Gutersloh, northern Germany, to Le Mans in about '90/'91, FZR1000EXUP.
Loch Leven, then a circuit of Ben Lawers, then down to Broxbourne, Herts, 2010, Fazer 1000.
Both done in one hit each.
The Le Mans trip I did with the grand total of a sleeping bag for luggage
Hopefully, a good 3 weeks Euro tour this year, if the fkn summons doesn't fall right in the booked dates
Longest overall trip I've done to date was the 2010 UK tour, about 3000 miles in 3 weeks, so nothing really to shout about.

That is a seriously impressive spread of countries Benno would love to get round to something like that soon. Hoping this summers BCF trip will spur me onto something big in the next year or two over in Europe.
How many nights were you away in the end - presuming some of the stops required hotels unless you only slept 4 nights during the whole trip ?
Edit- Stink how come you didn't goto lands end after all that !

2 Months riding mostly offroad across Canada has been the longest so far though technically I,m still on the trail.
https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=271504
Also 1 Month riding across Scandinavia/Russia/Europe. Another 1 Month across Europe/Ukraine/Russia And four 2 week trips in Morocco riding offroad. ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV |

I've done a few but memorable ones.
2900 miles around 12 european countries in 5 days
Albufiera, portugal to caen, france 1200 miles in 36hrs
salisbury to peterborough to Berlin 900 miles 16hrs
and Lands end to John o groats in 16hrs.
It would have been quicker but it was torrential rain 90% of the way and we stopped for meals and stuff just to get a break from it. ____________________ Nobby the Bastard: How yo tell the difference between the actual japanese and her just screaming because she's had live fish stuck up her arse? How far into/across Russia did you go - Did you have any problems along the way particularly or similar to travelling in most of Eastern Europe? |

Norwich to Plymouth, leaving at 8pm. Was on my old yellow FZR600 91'. Considering it was a small bike, and I'm a tall lady (I mean bloke..), it wasn't too bad. I did get leg cramps regularly though.
Also, when I returned a few days later, it rained the whole way. I was wearing a 1 piece leather suit. . |

The first time l went to Russia was from Finland to St.petersburg where l stayed for 4 day before heading to Estonia, The second time from Ukraine into Russia l was heading to Mongolia but l got as far as Kursk before l had issues and had to turn back home in reality l would of been better travelling with another rider on such a big undertaking. The only real issues l came across in Russia/Ukraine was the Miylta(police) hassling me looking to get a bribe out of me. ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV

I found a picture from that trip. I took a wrong turn and ended up on an awesome single track road. I miss that bike. Looked like shit but never let me down.

Did they stash the rest in body-pouches do you know or are they savvy enough to check that kind of stuff so better off burying it inside fairing/luggage.
Shame the most interesting countries to visit are usually the most corrupt and dodgy |

How did you handle/get out of those situations - was it a case of paying up a small amount and on your way or just playing dumb and saying sorry I have no cards/money until they buggered off |
Play dumb and try your very best to give the fuckers nothing as it only encourages them to try it on with others. Last lot that stopped me near Smolensk demanded 3000 roubles and pulled a pistol on me in the back of there Lada patrol car (might of been due to me kicking the door open when one of them tried to close it on me...) threatening to take me to the police station and leaving my bike and gear on the side of the road. To which l produced my muggers wallet(old wallet with expired cards and a days worth of money in it) claimed that the 500 roubles (ten pounds) was all l had which they took and allowed me on my way. ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV |

Bloody hell
Will need a pretty big budget for whenever I plan this trip it seems
Cheers for the info, definately won't be going on the current bike in either case - and might detour around Ukraine as it currently stands |
