The option to pass your tests on a 125 and get a license for a 25kW bike expired last year.

At 22, your best option is to get an "A2" license. Pass your tests on a 395cc+ bike making 25-35kW, get a license to ride anything up to 35kW and not restricted from a bike making more than twice its power.

/story.

Go for a A2 licence as Roger said.

Your original post implied that you retake the CBT and then you're allowed a 250cc, this is not the case. You've still got to do the theory and tests before you can ride a 250cc, and then some more tests after two years to unlock your 'full' A licence.

Or wait until you're 24 and do DAS.
