Why? It's free market, if there is a stupid person that'd pay the money, then I say let it happen. We could say the same thing about art. ____________________ '87 Honda XBR 500, '96 Kawasaki ZX7R P1, '90 Honda CB-1, '88 Kawasaki GPz550, MZ 150 ETZ

They can try and sell it at that price if they want, good luck to them.
Why should eBay ban someone who has listed items at prices that you don't like? People need to protect themselves from their own stupidity rather than expecting others to do so for them.
Few years ago now, I sold an empty beer can on eBay for more than it cost to buy full. They paid, I delivered the empty can, everyone was happy. |

"Over optimistic chancers" may be a better description than "Robbing Bastards"
I see loads of stuff that sells on eBay for more than it retails for and plenty of used items that work out more expensive than they are new. Not just vehicle parts either. ____________________ Space Is Deep |

Read the description.
Basically, they are breaking a CG and have loads of parts from it.
As such, they put a random bit on there, which will not sell ( minimal insertion fees) but advertises the rest of the bits whilst there effectively for free, or at least a very low cost.
Same as the ones who advertise a wheel nut for £100 for a car, then go on to say contact seller for other parts that are available.
Clever way to draw you in to the advert and if someone is stupid enough to buy the advertised part at the ridiculous price, they make a killing on something which is effectively worthless. ____________________ 2002 Rieju RS2-50 (Sold, spares or repair), 2010 Suzuki DR-125SM (Traded for ->), 2007 Honda CBF 600 (Sold), 2010 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 (Briefly, now returned), 2007 Suzuki Intruder 1800m (Even More Briefly, traded in for ->), 2014 Suzuki V-Strom 650 |

Not so long ago (the other week) Spares Unlimited in Hull (they're also on eBay) would sell a rear disc for a Varadero 125 quite happily.
Only when I asked if it was straight and suitable for MOT did they admit it'd gone beyond the wear limit, so would be MOT fail.
The eBay listing of the part didn't mention this (imho) quite important point. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...
