Start with the simple stuff.
Check battery as said for voltage. Should be above 13.5v (yes I know it's a 12v system).
If you think dubious then you can try start from power pack or car battery. See if that works.
If battery low common fault I've found is regulator/rectifier (reg/rec).
If starts from power pack/car then does it also jump start (assuming carbs, put in 2nd gear, hold in clutch and push, then let out clutch to see if it catches).
If this is the case and if battery ok then check starter motor. Maybe just needs a clean up.
If bike been in accident then battery could have been damaged. These batteries are small and the cells are close together. So any drop or impact can damage them. They maybe still work but you might have lost one or more cells. So life expectancy somewhat reduced.
Not that this is relevant to the problem but IMO best investment you can make is an Accumate/Optimate charger (other makes available, avoid Oxford if you can, they don't last). ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

Thanks for your reply, I have checked battery is all perfect, in fact bike just stopped working, my problem is I am not able to figure out where the starter motor is located? except for external maintenece (brakes, lever etc..) I never had chance to go more closer.. ____________________ Thanks & Regards,

Language go to pot this thread.
How did you check? What voltage are you seeing across the terminals? Keep the multimeter across the terminals and hit the starter button. What happens to the voltage?
The other things I'd check are the fuses, and the main earth connection to the frame / engine. Simple and methodical, there's not much to go wrong on these bikes. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Many thanks John, for taking trouble to check the bike late in night, I appreciate it. Hopefully I will try put back bike into working order soon. I too am strong believer of if not broken don’t fix it. My son (who is not young) had bad luck with bike and then what happened don’t know he would not even look at it, I tried a lot to drive him to put it right and get back on it but after 3 years I gave up, its done only 300 miles; I want to make it running, sale it, give the money into charity, and forget about it, but for it need bike in working order and I am trying that. I myself ride Suzuki SV650S. ____________________ Thanks & Regards,
