Could also be a later set of carbs with the throttle position sensor removed?

Instantly thought this...

https://i.ebayimg.com/t/SUZUKI-GSX750-GSX-750-F-TPS-THROTTLE-POSITION-SENSOR-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/rYgAAOxyM89Sc9tL/$(KGrHqFHJEwFJhg2E0grBSc9tN1B3!~~60_35.JPG

However on a bike that old.. I doubt it.

Hi

About the right position for a throttle position sensor (as fitted to 1200 Bandits) but not aware the gsx750f had one.

If lucky it is a 1200 Bandit engine and carbs Razz

All the best

Keith

It's a TPS, or more precisely it's a missing TPS, few of the old oil cooled Suzukis - Bandits, Teapots have them. Many just bin it as on that one, it only alters the timing a touch at constant throttle openings/cruising to improve mpg. Which in the real world is zilch, doesn't affect the running in any way if not fitted can only cause a problem if it is fitted but malfunctioning.

Not needed unless as said, its not the original engine.. then again, the difference it makes is nominal.

i had one on both the bandit 12 and cb1000, having it disconnected made absolutly no real world difference on either bike,
leave it off, one less thing to go wrong
