Brand new oil reduced to cream.

So I got rid of my oil leak!

But now my rad is literally pissing out coolant and my oil is now cream.

The bike had been run without coolant for fuck knows how long, but is there any way to fix this? Would it be a case of replacing the head gaskets or will it be much worse?

Yep sounds headgaskety to me, unless the head or block is cracked around the cooling jacket somewhere.

Thing is, why has it only done it now, when I dropped my oil it wasn't full of cream?

If the bike was running without coolant, there was nothing to mix with the oil to "cream" it.
If the headgasket is FUBAR you've added water to mix with the oil.

So how do I fix this then? New cylinder head? With or without pistons and cams?

Pistons don't go in the cylinder head.

I recommend having a word with some who, say, has had training as a mechanic and see what they think.....

You do know that you aren't supposed to fill the radiator with oil, don't you?

I saw you had mechanic training from a post in your project thread, which prompted my sarcastic remark.

I'm only being slightly mean here, but the fact you have had (at least some) training and had trouble sorting a brake and couldn't diagnose emulsified oil for me justifies my stance that nobody but me does any work on any vehicle I own.

I see the problem now.

OIL GOES IN CRANKCASE

and

WATER GOES IN RADIATOR

Clean them out, put the right fluids in the right holes - job jobbed.

I put water in the cooling system and oil into the engine via the engine oil filler upper port your highest of horses sittererererer. Laughing

Ok fair point, any suggestions on getting one that isn't as fucked or has some form of fault? And what should I do with the old engine as fucked ones are just scrap.

Thank you sickpup, I've had a look on egay

cylinder and pistons - £22.50
Base Gasket - £15-20
Head Gasket - £10 (cheapest one I found)

Vs a new engine costing £100+ I dunno which to do at the moment.

Cylinder head will need skimming, will need copper gasket spray as well. Then if you're lucky it will work ok, if not...
