It does sound like your kit did a particularly crap job of protecting you. Confused

I came off last Sunday at a not unsimilar speed and didn't get any injuries apart from a twisted ankle. My leather jeans got a bit ripped up, and my lid's also a write-off, but my gloves were fine - no ripped stitching and those jeans were 3 years old and had been previously crashed in. Jacket had a couple scuffs (fleece I was wearing over the top didn't fare so well).

I'd avoid that denim jacket stuff in future Thumbs Up

Unlucky mate, get back on the bike ASAP, but take it easy for now. Glad to hear your mainly in one bit.
With regard you kit you know what you should have been waring so i wont go into that, i would take your gloves back to HG, i think they like to see problems with their products to help them make them better. My jacket was replaced due to a design fault leading to a whole in the back after my crash.
Hope your all fixed soon.

It looks a lot worse than I think it is. If I wanted to get everything perfect again with new parts and get someone to do the work for me, it'd be more than £3.5K but as I'm doing it myself with breakers parts it'll probably be less than a grand.
