Fucking Fuming

Next door have had some building work done in their back yard.
Yesterday the builder removed a load of rubble from yard, down the ally and past my bike.

Today i go to get my bike out and see that it has been moved up against the wall and is now resting on it by the left mirror and indicator.

On the right side the side and rear fairing have been scratched by the rubble.

If some sort of registered builder don't they have insurance you can claim for this sort of thing? That's were proof would come in though.

...or just ask neighbour for a payment for repair and let them sort it out with their builder?

While I was at work, people that I must speak kindly of, decided to move some slate from the front to the back garden, and left my gixxer with a couple of nice scratches in the process

I too would have moved it in advance if I had been asked/known they needed me to etc.

Shit happens, I hope CaNsA gets the culprit to pay, just like I hope anyone that fucks with a bike and damages it is forced to pay, but there's always little respect for bikes, they are just "machines" to most non-riders, akin to lawnmowers etc, what does it matter if they get scratched?

The scratches don't show up in my crappy mobile phone pics. The scratching is to the exhaust where it's been caught by the bucket as it's been taken past and they were not there before. It's minor but it's still damage.

I'd get the name of the builders from your neighbour.

If you can access the rubble then your paint will be on some of it and that'd make it pretty hard for them to dispute how your bike was damaged.

I told the neighbours earlier that my bike had been damaged

The neighbours, who are just the messengers at the moment, contacted the builder who is saying:-
"I was moving rubble yesterday but never hit, damaged or moved your bike"


I'm getting his name and number, if he plays the cunt then I'll phone the popo on 101.
