Is this the WR125X?
I'd want a £4200 learner bike to be absolutely mint, no dissembling or excuses. If they don't want that obscene amount of money, plenty of other dealers will be delighted to take it.
And I've just noticed that you "had a Aprilia RS125 many years ago".
So this is your last chance to come to your senses, walk away, get a license and buy something that offers much better value for money. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

My Trophy was an ex demonstrator but they (Pure Triumph) replaced the rear seat as it had scuffs. I didn't ask as I bought it as seen but they said as it was a heated seat they would fit a new one.
My Explorer (Brand new) had 5 miles on the clock when I picked it up. ____________________ Triumph Trophy Launch Edition |

(Based on rogerborgs post being accurate)
Gosh darn it! Don't buy a brand new 125! Massive waste of money, you will get bored of that bike within a month. Although that is not from experience, as soon as I turned 17 I did my test and went from my 50cc to my GSXR 400.
I do understand that you cannot get a 'bigger bike' until you are 19 now. But you will be much better off getting a second hand 125 that you don't care as much about and can there for, have more fun on.
*Edit: going by other posts it seems you are over 19 already?*
(Unless you're getting it on a 0% apr finance arrangement and don't have the outright cash to buy second hand, then I kind of get why you would buy new) ____________________ Generic XOR 50, Gilera SMT 50, GSXR 400 GK73A, Ducati Monster 600, Honda Hornet 600.

If nobody buys a brand new 125 then the market will dry up very quickly.
Hurrah for new bike buyers. ____________________ My fingers smell of your mum. |

You're buying a brand new 125CC? Please don't.
It'll do what? 60MPH maxed out. £500 to nail your tests and get a 400CC, leaves £1,500 from your £2,000. Buy a nice 400CC something like a GSXR or a DRZ if you like supermotos and profit.
No finance, no worrying about paying for the bike every month and no worrying about dropping it or putting a scratch on it here or there.
I have a 1997 DT, I couldn't care less if I threw it down the road tomorrow.
Everyone on here telling you not to buy a new 125CC is good advice. Advising you to NOT make a mistake. Trust me, you will be bored of that 125CC within a week or two. I can barely do overtakes on NSL's on my DT and that's a 2 smoker and probably faster than a WR. |
