Until you try some on, you are never going to know.
You could always order online and return under the DSR.
Problem is unless people buy from the high street, we will soon have no stores left and end up having to order online and send stuff back.... ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

I've got a pair of Sidi's and a pair of TCX's, both fit fine. I've also got wide feet and don't have a problem with the Sidi's. In fact, I'd say they're the more comfortable of the two and aren't as heavy as the TCX's. I tend to use them as a summer boot basically, as they're cooler and have air vents in that you can open or close, which can be bliss on a very hot day.
The TCX's state that they're waterproof (they're not really though), are made of a thicker leather and are generally sturdier but, I've also had issues with the zips on them. My first pair were exchanged after around 6 months because of a broken zip and my current pair both now have busted zips, which happened after around a year of use. For this reason alone, I personally wouldn't buy TCX boots again. ____________________ There ain't no devil, there's just god when he's drunk.

Are you talking about the same pair of boots - TCX S-Race GTX? That's GTX, not WP.
I've had WP TCX boots in the past - WP for waterproof - and they were not waterproof. But my pair of S Race GTXes is waterproof, and is my weekend and touring boot of choice.
No problem with zips either.
If I was looking for a better pair of boots, I'd go for Daytonas. Twice the boot, almost literally - they're basically an inner boot inside an outer boot. ____________________ Bikes: S1000R, SH350; Exes: Vity 125, PS125, YBR125, ER6f, VFR800, Brutale 920, CB600F, SH300x4
