What do you guys think? Looks like he ran wide (bike looks like it was unsettled on the poor road surface), tried to power out, saw the bike coming the other way and laid the bike down

He didn't lay the bike down, he saw the bike, put on some power and pushed himself wide then bottled it. The man can't ride or at least he was riding outside his abilities in both vids, shit himself and seized up both times. Look at him at 40 seconds easy bend but he still can't keep it tight and he's hardly even moving. Lucky he didn't meet himself coming the other was when he overtook that car too.

If he had better "perception" skills the idiot would have slowed down when he saw the state of the road, just before the crash you can see the bike become unsettled as he goes over the rough bits.

Personally Id of knocked at least 10mph off that bend just for the fact of the car being there....


I ride like a twat at times, and I'm no safety nazi nor what I would could "seasoned" compared to most - 5 years is hardly a lifetime - but I still would have done that a whole lot different.....

I also get the feeling hes made the same mistake twice and looked at the other side of road and skidded his undies, rather than buckling down looking ahead and concentrating on keeping his line

I drilled it into my head as a new biker that panicking will always make the situation worse, if I go in too fast I just hang off the bike as much as I can and add throttle it's the best thing you can do apparently even though your instincts say brake brake brake

Well with the second one being a graduate of the Jackie Stewart school of motoring would have helped; never get on the throttle until you know you won't have to lift off (or words to that effect).

Had he of waited a split second, he could have pulled the bike back in, instead it looks like he powered out gambling nothing was coming the other way.

Honestly hope the guys given up riding, for his and everyone else's safety.

I really don't understand how people manage to do this. After a couple months on a bike, you generally learn how much power / lean to put on around a corner. It's not even like they are tight corners, the bloke is a retard.

In that second one you can see in the frame before he comes off that there is a strip of over-banding right in front of his wheel.

Pause it as 2.24 and you'll see what I mean. His wheel follows the shiny line exactly.

In the second video it looks like he went over a patch of some liquid a second before he lost the front. I watched that part a few times and it looked like there was something there. I can be wrong though.

There was definitely a strip of glistening banding he ran over a millisecond before binning it. As others have said, not really an excuse as you could see the road had loads of it.
