Now that the sprocket is off again, why not get the actual cause of the problem fixed instead of bodging it back again?
i.e. GET THE SPROCKET SHAFT FIXED. ____________________

Push it or courier to crawley Ill do it
I suggest get a splined spacer made up to be welded on and use a bigger ID sprocket, plenty of options there. A cheap way of getting a spacer, would be to find a suitable sized output shaft, cut the end off and drill it out.
I then suggest precision use of an angle grinder on the current output shaft (so the new sprocket does not need to be massive. Do this with engine running and in gear, to keep the shaft round. I would perhaps put something covering the seal to protect from grinding dust. |

You like doing bodges to kill yourself so why don't you just weld the sprocket up and then weld that back on. I wouldn't really comment on workshop threads as my advice can be crap but you look like you have a death wish. ____________________ CB125>CG125>GN125>ER5>K100RS>R1100RS>K100RS

Of course you'll need a power source
Just take the batteries out of your TV remote and take them to Screwfix with you. |

Good money after bad how about no also that would mean no transport for several weeks which means no job which means eating away at my Varadero 1000 money to pay for a bike I'm only going to dump once I get the A2 entitlement.
I will ride around with a welding machine bungee corded to the luggage rack if I have to. |
