in theory i would say yes. but will your beams hold the weight of your bike? what will you do to stabilize your bike from swinging once lifted? it could be lifted and once you put pressure on the wheel the bike could roll and fall on its side which you don't want.
personally i use an old plastic cargo box which i fill with water to add weight close the lid and use a wooden plank to ride the bike onto the box. but i have a 125cc which weighs 127kg so might be different for you |

I was going to tie the bars down with straps as well. My beams will support it. It's not that heavy. I will have a go tomorrow! Cheers. |

something else i just remembered is if you have the nuts and bolts for your chain adjusters / wheel alignment i usually wrap tape around them before i take the wheel off that way there is more chance that they stay where they are and makes life easier once putting wheel back on.
i would still check alignment after just to be sure |

Half a bike shouldn't weigh much - if your beams are going to collapse, you probably need new beams anyway .
I wouldn't bother using the ratchet bit; just attach straps and lift bike on to it.
You can get a motorcross stand for not much more than you paid for those straps, or a milk crate or similar should do it too. |
