 |
|
Hi! New to the forum...
I've had my 2003 Van Van for about a month now and this problem has only just started happening. (Cold?...)
It will start fine with choke on, I'll leave it for a minute, turn the handlebars to start riding and it will cut!
So I start it again and turn the handlebars hard left & right to see if that would affect it at all? Didn't seem to but it would still cut out. The only other time it has cut out was when I was slowing down to take a turn, when beforehand I had been riding without stop for about 15 mins straight.
My boyfriend recommended I get a new spark plug (7.80 ). I'll change that next weekend and see how I go.
Any help/insight greatly appreciated.
Thanks |

Have you tried checking the clutch freeplay and cable? Might need some adjustment. ____________________ Motorsapien Art |

If you ask this again in the Workshop section then you'll get more helpful responses, and also a reply from Teflon Mike. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Ok, will do thanks
It idled slowly at first, so I turned the idle speed up. It sits at 1600 rpm now. But when it cuts out, it does cut out at idle speed. |
