Sorry, I forgot to answer the PM. Does the part need to flex at all, or is it just something that slides on to two pins? I only ask because it may be faster/neater to just lasercut it from some other material.

Are these not the socket parts of 2 ball and socket type joints? They usually pop onto the balls of the rotor and the swashplate.

In which case, 3d printing might not be possible as they have to be exactly the right size or it will either break or fall off or if the plastic is flexible enough, may just become really stiff.

Common RC heli parts are cheap. Got a model no.?

These parts are common to fail and usually sub £60 choppers come with spares as well as spare blades.

I have small CNC mill and as it looks a straightforward part
I could have a go at milling some out if you give me the dimensions

The smallest end mill I currently have is 3mm as I've mainly
been cutting PCBs with it
but I'm guessing from the pic a 3mm bit may be OK for that.
I have some 3mm plastic sheet here but don't ask me what variety
ABS/polywhatsit/whatever as I found it on the street but used it make a throttle lock so its fairly tough.
If you want fancy high grade stuff, you'll have to buy some

Edit
Assuming its not thicker than a pound coin which I measure at 3.2mm
the plastic I have is 3.7mm so thats sorted
I just need the hole diameter ( =>3mm would be sweet)
Pitch between centres
overall length and thickness and neck thickness and I'll have a go.

I may, big may, be able to get you some genuine ones, measurements would be useful.

It should fly fine with just one in place though, lots of companies used to sell them with two, then cut down to one. If it still has one dogbone in place and doesn't fly correctly I would suspect the pin that the blades pivot on has either broken or come loose. Worth checking that before anybody goes to the hassle of making you one.

(I base the above on having sold those sorts of helicopters for ~5 years prior to my current job)

You can see it only comes with one.

Iirc that hole isn't just a hole, as in the internal sides sides aren't flat, it's rounded to suit the ball it goes on to.

Rounded like a U, or does it contract again at the mouth, like a C?

Open on both sides. Sort of like taking a tennis ball and cutting the top and bottom off.

EDIT:
I posted a really pissy reply to this but changed my mind.

You can but 10 off ebay for about £2.50. I posted a link but why should I put the effort into it if the OP can't be arsed?
