So I`m putting newer/better bits on my Superdream.

I have another swinging arm that looks? tidier and generally in better order than the swinging arm that is on the bike.
As I am going to replace the swinging arm bearings anyway I intend to use this newer? swinging arm at the same time.

HOWEVER! the newer swinging arm has a hole in it from corrosion about the length of my finger on the underside.
I have a MIG gas-less welder and was thinking of welding up the hole.
I believe it is do-able.
It`s a superdream and not a R1 so I don`t think that power/stress is going to be an issue.

I await your wisdom oh mighty and wise BCF

Smiler rode one with a plated swing arm. Worked fine.

While you are at it. Drill a hole, tap it and add a grease nipple so you can keep the bearings well greased Thumbs Up
