Just browsing eBay for bikes and stumble on eBay member andramon4qts4r.
Can't link him on my tablet but look at his items for sale. From bikes to tractors at stupidly low prices, has no feedback either. But to list classified ads he must have spent loads.
Some kind of millionaire selling his life or more likely some scam I'm not aware of?

Never mind, just as I posted this thread it seems his account has been deleted. If you google the name you can still see the listings though

The adverts have been closed.

Saw this style listing a while back with someone else. There was a thread about it and from what I remember no one was totally sure how the scam was going to work.

I'm assuming the typical 'its yours just need a £200 PayPal deposit first'. Then at a later point deleting his accounts so he doesn't pay any eBay fees I guess.

Similar ones pop up all the time, often there are stupid mistakes like a US style tractor and photos obviously in North America but described as being near Aberdeen.
Every now and then a sucker must bite I guess.
If they just *disappear* after being sent money, not sure what ebay can do about it.

Or maybe it leads to a meeting with you and your cash in a dark secluded carpark and his five wellard mates show up to relieve you of the burden of your money?

This one? https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=292205 Angelic

That's the one. That lowlife had actually put some work into it to give a consistent story that it was a lifelong collections being sold due to spazz.

Presumably it's a numbers game; spunk out hundreds of "pay later" classifieds, and if you scam just one sucker you've paid for your time.

NCA feds will be all over it, of course. Rolling Eyes
