Best thing would be a new cover.......however I fixed a much worse hole in my chinese POS 125cc crankcase using chemical metal , this was in a secluded place thankfully (front sprocket area). It's still going strong (sold it 5 years ago and still spot it sometimes ).
Wouldn't dream of doing such a bodge nowadays. If you do go down that road.. take the cover off before you do it, and be aware that if you try and sell the bike later people will ask questions. ____________________ Previous - Sinnis Apache - Honda Bros 400 - Yamaha SR500 - Honda Transalp - Kawasaki ZX-7R - Honda CB-1 - Honda 929 Fireblade - Honda NTV650 [b]Current[\b] Honda CB500 |

I fixed a cracked case on my old zx6 with just 2 part epoxy, applied to the inside of a degreased case.
Made a well with blue tac and the webbing of the case, then pooled the epoxy into it. Let it dry overnight in the house.
Was on the bike for 20k miles and never leaked. ____________________ Suzuki GT250 x7------- Fazer 600------CB250RS------Aprilia Rally 70----- Bandit 600
