hello all Very Happy

im wondering if any one can shed some light on this for me Rolling Eyes

i insured my cg last year before i passed my test and for some reason i un ticked the include pillion option

ok at the time as i did not have my license, i did phone my insurance company they said it would cost me £30 to add pillion use Middle Finger

so passed my tests 2 weeks ago Razz got insured on the drz

the insurance policy on the drz has pillion use and covers me to ride other bikes aslong as they are insured and i have the owners permission

does any one no if this covers me to take pillion passengers on my cg

thanks for the help Thumbs Up

Well what we know, depends on what you tell us....

Is this a multi bike policy or do you have 2 separate policies?

If its 2 separate polices. Then while you could, you may find that in the event of a accident the ins co pay pillion out. Then come chasing you for the money.....

You can always take a pillion, its not illegal with your full licence at all. If you crash, your pillion may have trouble getting paid out or something silly. Just don't crash.

can they void your policy on the spot?

As far as I know, it's near impossible for an insurance company to void your third party liability, regardless of modifications/pillions etc.

Read your contract as this varies but that statement is ''usually'' followed by so long as you're not the registered keeper of the other bike...

Based on not reading the contracts that you agreed to:

No.

If you disagree, read the contracts that you agreed to.
