Rubber stamp for signature? Would that work on the electronic pads?
Otherwise large box with padlock used by courier to lock works. Friends use a similar system. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

The company I work for uses TNT for deliveries,
They require a signed note to be able to leave an item in a 'safe' place so that the driver can take the note with them as proof he has followed instructions and not just dropped it over the fence if the customer kicks off. ____________________ Looking to pass your CBT / Bike tests in Bury Lancashire? try www.focusridertraining.co.uk Would recommend.

How about these?

Signature probably hard to get by, but some couriers like DPD will let you tell them where to stash it if you aren't in. |

Some petrol stations have a drop-box service that couriers use. They send you an email or sms when they have delivered something, and you reply with a code when you have collected it.
I have a similar problem with deliveries when I am at my place in Spain. The post office and local courier service have my phone number and call me when a delivery is due, and I have to go and meet them at the bar in the village. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)

I have a Land Rover as do a few other members, we can get there. |
That's one reason I bought my Defender hi cap.
After the cloudburst on Thursday 6 November the ford was too deep for most vehicles the morning after. The Landy (which I was driving) would have done it, but a big openreach van was parked in the way on this side of the stream so I couldn't get past.
Still, the stream carries away excess water pretty quickly, so after half an hour, when the water had gone down a bit, the driver got all bullish and decided to cross. He would have made it, except he made the classic mistake of going through too quickly, making a big splashy bow wave that came over the bonnet. The van got halfway out on the other side before the engine stopped with a puff of smoke. Water in the engine, perhaps dropped a valve? So there it sat, Timberwolf chipper still on the trailer, while I walked past it up to the house.
I took this picture about an hour later on my way back, after the water had receded further. The van was gone the next day, I suspect on the back of another trailer.
