What Triden it is would help, T150, T160 or a Hinckley one? The older ones are better off with someone who knows them as they can be awkward.

Hi it's a t150 1972 !! I've just had a tinker with it checked the mixture screws and they were only about a turn out from seated ! I turned em back in and then 2 .5 turns out as recommended then cleaned the plugs and it's made a lot of difference ! I'll ride it a bit then check colour of the plugs again.
When I get it right I'll put new plugs in ! Would like an experienced bloke set it up REALY to get the best out off it !!!
Can't believe how nice it is to ride!!! Thanks for your reply

Amal concentrics are notorious for wearing, even at low mileage. You might need to replace with modern manufactured devices.

That really is for experts. People spend literally years adjusting Mikunis on old Triumphs.

The idle mixture screws should be set for best mixture, rather to a pre-decided number of turns.

Can't speak for the T150, but the T120 I recently worked it was recommended to use an Amal Monobloc. A bit different mind as mine only had 1 carb to your 3!

There can't be room for three normal Monoblocs.
