Hi All,

For the first time after 3 years I dropped my bike in the street and one time in track so 2 in total.

it was a very stupid and could have been avoided. while going around a round about , there was a pile of mud which my front tyre slipped on and i was on my side .

luckily my crash bung saved the bike and no fairing broke but the crash bung itself is bent so :

while I am getting a new set of r&g crush bung as mines are ** can i leave the current one in place with a bent screw and ride it ? it is the one on right for engine mount

My shoe toe is gone and the plastic is f*cked so change it ?

also just before that I noticed my front tyre has more thickness on one side than other across it . is that normal , could that have caused it ?

i did a lowside on around 20-30mph

I read post, bad obs think me.

You being less vertical are more crashing bad!

Try less mud are on the road. Are damaging much worser? Can that your fairing be fixed repaired?

I guess there's no harm in leaving it there in the mean time...

Are the wheels still attached? Is the engine still working?

If yes, then you can still ride it. Whether or not the sand in your vagina will prevent it is another matter entirely.

Ha-ha! He's edited it into a more legible thing!

I mean...

Ha -Ha! He has edit edited the post for are to others so I can you help easier read for others that can!

I think OP is worried about what others will think about the state of his bike rather than whether he can ride it again after this. I think pics of your weird tyre thing would help us make up, I mean, diagnose what you think the problem is.

Yes you can keep riding and leave the R&G in place with it's bent bolt.

I based that on the fact I did, which was based on the fact it was like that when I bought it (srsly), whether or not it's actually advisable to do so is another matter.

Your shoe toe?

They wear like a 50 pence piece and are pretty dire in the wet.

Probably just wear due to road camber and roundabouts. I'm guessing it's worn more on the right side of the tyre.

Nope, he was already full potato. I remember him asking a few cracking questions like "is it a good idea to wheelie my SV on every commute?" And other gems like "my R6 isn't fast enough" when he rarely goes above 6k.

Easily mistaken

Agreed, Still if OP is not riding his R6 properly/confidently, I doubt that an R1 would the solution to his traffic light GP woes

some people are quite nasty here. I asked a simple question , didn't need your sarcasm .

You learn as you go along and I did ask few questions when I was very new to bikes as any other one of you dum* ass that is been funny would have .

re the other fool saying you need to puch me till i die maybe you can try that when you next see me if you around london !

I am not a pro race rider but competent enough and can ride to my ability which I am happy with and developing not like other fools claiming they are pro and will crash in the first turn . I have ridden for 3 years with 1 crash considering most of the time I do push my bike and myself.

re all other useful comments , thanks for your notes.

I probably did crash due to not seeing the mud on the tarmac.

I was only doing 25 miles when reviewing the footage it did all of the sudden it slipped with not much control.

My shoes were also damaged as per below

https://i62.tinypic.com/34njng4.jpg

would you wear them again ?
