Had a 9am hospital appointment this morning, 8am I fire up the bike, the front light glows bright then dies.

Made me 20 minutes late by the time I’d found the right page in the manual (first failure in a year of riding), got the side panel off to access the back of the headlight unit, swapped the bulb, and put everything back together. At least I’m getting quicker at getting the panel off.

They were still able to see me at the hospital, and they decided they didn’t need to do anything.

10p says you need a new reg/rec too.

You check the voltage of the battery with the bike running. Rev the bike and the voltage should not go above 15 volts.
