Sprained my wrist quite well and have a small bruise on my hip from a stone, but otherwise im ok.

I know......stoopid noob rider........ Sad

Firstly, congratulations. I take it you are OK. Considering you made it to the forum. Some folks don't live to tell the tale.

Secondly, and more importantly, how's the bike?!

And finally, hAha noob! We've all had our moments. My first accident was with a car. You had a good first experience. Hope it doesn't do too much damage to the funds 👍

InB4 5 ponds offer from Paddy.

It's fine, you need to get it out of your system.

Now: did you sprain your wrist trying to save yourself or the bike? Wink

Hi, thanks for sharing. I hope you are OK - make sure you take care of your wrist so it heals properly.

Can you reflect on the accident? What went wrong? Can you share your thoughts of how you could have evaded it so that we all learn and become better riders?

Don't worry you're not retarded, it was just one mistake.

I've managed to fall off 4 times in the last 3 or 4 months Embarassed two of those were lucky to have not been serious too. Granted, it wasn't on my personal bike, but still!

Edit:

just seen the video

Next time the bike is down like that, turn the bars the other way before trying to pick it up. Makes it easier for some reason that I can't remember.
