Cheers, chap.
Sales are low in December so flogging 20 Sportsters can get a category win. Possibly they get delivered in a van straight into a garage and then sit there until it's time for their first service?
Ducati appearing at #9 might be more of a surprise.
Suzuki being a no show, well, same old same old. I guess their latest SALE SALE SALE has ended, and sales of their big hope, the V Strom 1000 have already petered out (doing the sums, which accountants are good at, it costs less to ride an R1200GS on finance).
However, the take-away point is that overall sales are up, and up by 16% in the high margin 650cc+ categories, so (cheap, off-brand) champagne all round. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

That's just the top seller in the 'custom' category. They could have sold 19 units of plenty of other bikes.
These are the broad stats, you have to pay to get the detailed ones.
All we can really tell is that Harley (and Suzuki) sold fewer than 158 bikes in December. It could have been 20, it could have been 157.
Harley selling anything in December is actually pretty good going. Suzuki selling less than Aprilia and Ducati, not so much. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Sad to see that after a run starting last April the Yamaha YZF R125 has been knocked off it's top spot in the supersport category |
