As per your other thread... Put a new battery in.
Seriously, mine used to do it randomly...
Changed oil, spark plug, air filter - cleaned everything i could clean out - and it'd still do it every so often, when you least expected it.
The only fault codes i ever got were related to a problem with electricity either not getting to the CDi or the fuel pump (IIRC)
As it's not carbed - and has no reserve tank - stop faffing around and get a new battery in there! |

i was thinking about that, when bike is parked i can see my front light pulsating if i rev it a bit. its not noticeable when riding tho, but ill ask my friend to borrow his battery its from 2014 model so it should be in good condition. |

Deffo battery then... when mine's low - the indicators cause the headlamp to pulse...
For piece of mind - get a voltmeter on the + and - and see what you get with bike off and also at medium revs. (That'll show you broadly, if it's charging properly)
If the battery is anywhere near 12V with bike off - get it charged/changed.
Everything else is useless trying to problem solve if the battery's shagged.
In fact - never mind with the volt meter - just get it changed. |
