				| I manage fine with a CBR600F. Quick, handles well, pretty comfortable. If I am careful it returns decent MPG. | |

				| Don't currently use the ZX6 for work but have done in the past for extended periods and fairly long journeys on a weekly basis; travel/transport wise it was absolutely practical; much quicker and cheaper most of the time too.
If you manage it on the XJ6 I can't see why it would be any different on a sport - perhaps more fun
? The only downside for me and the main reason I don't bike it currently is issues with changing/storing/turning up in gear not being appropriate. | |

				| Why not just sell the current bike, buy a 636 and use it for weekend fun and work . To be honest i've never used a 'commuter' bike, racked up with top-boxes and other luggage etc properly; although i could of worked something out on the ZX6 if I had to.
The ZX6 has done everything i've ever needed it to so far though. Its purely 'off-the-bike' problems with changing etc that have currently stopped me commuting on it; which would apply to any bike. I've never had any issues using it for town-commuting which was generally going through bristol rush hour, amongst other hectic areas.

No idea on the value of your XJ, but you could end up a lot better off, or at least breaking even by selling it and buying an older 636 for everything instead of buying a second/new bike possibly?

				| Do it.
But do it properly, so that means an R1 rather than an R6, etc etc etc.
