				| Hi Kate. Sorry, nothing specific and I hope you get a better answer, but the Dianese boots that I've tried have been slim. Painfully slim in one case, too narrow for my wife's delicate footsies, let alone mine. Might be worth a snifflook.____________________

				| Not sure what your real budget is, but if you are having trouble getting something that fits right consider Altberg. In London (where you appear to be), Silvermans at Mile End have some stock, otherwise you can order online or go up to Richmond (Yorkshire, not London) be measured at the factory and have a pair made to fit you.
A pair of Hogg All Weather cost £185, are properly waterproof and have a good sole on them for walking. They also come in 5 different widths as standard - though obviously Silvermans don't carry all variations.

				| Thanks all - really helpful!
I am indeed in London and headed to the MCN show on the Saturday so hopefully will find something there, and will check out Altberg and Dainese boots as well.

 Thanks again!

				| Bit of a gamble without trying them in person; but you might find these fit. I'm pretty skinny and find these are the most comfortable boots i've had so far - the foot area feels much more like a normal shoe than other bulkier pairs i've used in the past.
10% off with ''GHOSTBIKES15'' code, definately not bad for £55

I've had them about a year now in all weathers/touring/walking fair distances and haven't had any problems; been totally waterproof so far. I know some other people on here have mentioned having other models of black brand boots which have leaked but these seem fine.

Free postage (not sure about returns being free if they don't fit) but they've been good taking stuff back in the past from my experience

 +1 for these

I bought a pair last year and they are mega value for money! Really nice fit and very well made for the money.

				| Ooodles of years ago, I asked this very question to a friend. I was told to go and get myself some gortex boot liners from the local army surplus store. Back then they cost £4 for the pair.
They fit in all boots, they are comfy and warm and WATERPROOF. They last for years and years and years and years...in fact they've outlasted two pairs of bike boots.

I still use them nowadays, I use them for camping...they are great to use as slippers when camping too.

They are not that attractive, but I've owned and used them for a VERY long time. That's gotta be more cost effective than buying specific boots.
