Given that intelligence correlates with more money (due to higher earnings) and that macs require quite a bit of spare cash, I'd guess that the average IQ of a Mac user is a little above the baseline average.

I would further guess that linux's learning curve would likely make users of all flavours somewhat higher than average, more so than the Mac users.

Particularly, given the almost ubiquitous use of one of the 3, and the Linux & Mac users taking more than their fair share of the top of the pile; I think that would leave windows users as the left overs. That's not to say that all windows users are daft, merely there's a correlation.

Just a guess, but I'm guessing that's not what you were going for...

Considering the OP thought it would be easier to create a new thread on a motorbike forum in order to ask a question instead of hitting up Google or Apple.com/support, it kinda negates your entire post.

I actually have multiple machines with various OSes, but use lenovo/windows most. My Mac mini is hooked up to the TV, mainly because 'my first OS(X)' is virtually useless for any serious work.

I wouldn't go that far; the true troll wants not for sycophants.

OS X is 'meh' at best. Apple took the best bit of BSD (the package management system) and removed it, then slapped an OTT window manager on top. Other than that, it does largely what it says on the tin. I'm not a big fan of the Fisher-Price UI, but the hardware's typically well-constructed, although heavily overpriced and a bugger to upgrade.

command shift 4, goes to a file on my desktop, no idea if it goes to clipboard as well but I defo get a file.
