Basics so far;
I've managed to fit a new front brake lever, heated grips, adjusted the chain (So far so good) and Replaced the innertube on the front wheel after the last owner put a rear tube into the front wheel Shocked .

But now from the sounds of the bike and reading through loads of threads on here, it looks like I'm going to have to clean the carb.

Easy? Pitfalls to look out for? Essentials I will need?

I've got a haynes manual, loads of tools, a dry indoor space to work with and a clapped out Gn125.

A rear tube? Its a tube... I don't think it matters if its front or back.

Carb, get the right screwdriver, take pictures, do it over a bowl so any loose bits fall in there.

Are the rims different diameters? Could that affect the choice of intardtube?

I have a 2.75 tube in a 2.50 tyre and a 3.00 tube in a 2.75 tyre... seems fine Laughing

It was a 3.50 in a 2.75.

It was folder over in two places and causing a wheel wobble.

Easy, easier than levering the tyre on and off which you've done successfully. It's one of those jobs people worry about because there are so many stories of clowns that did it half arsed, messed with the settings and then ended up with a potato running bike.

Do it after you finish work tonight, you'll be posting a "much success" before you go to bed.
