If it runs, I'll give you £8.29 for it.

Fork seals, chain and sprockets, a good clean and a few plastics.

I have seen far worse on here and on the road.

Obviously the usual filter and oil changes as per any bike, but it is more reputation than actual issues.

It will be a run around for the other half while she gets her bike legs back as well as a starter for my lad to get on the road if jobs arrive. Just need to make it properly road worthy and reliable.

Output shaft and seals? I predict that this will become more of a money pit than you think.

Out put shaft £30 on e-bay (whole gear box for under £50) but seeing peoples projects on her it should be fine. I'm no master mechanic, but if I can do a clutch/radiator/sprocket & chain changes on my Varadero 1000 this little baby will be fine. I'm not looking for it to be show room condition when I finish as my bike isn't just a nice little run around for us.

Plus gaskets, and the inevitable sheared/rounded bolts and such. I'm not questioning whether you're capable Skudd, merely giving you the heads up that it's not going to be as trivial as you make out. I've dealt with 125 shitters prior to now, and they invariably cost more than they're worth in the long run.
Either way, I'm looking forward to the writeup. Nothing quite like a horrorshow rebuild thread to follow. Thumbs Up

The drugs are fine and working well.

If it does become a money pit then it will be at the BBQ, but it won't be. It is more a reputation of the bike than the actual bike it's self. There is nothing so far that I wouldn't have expected on a used 12 year old 125cc bike. Nothing that a stitch in time won't save.

By the way Body Guard is a nice lad in person(just like the rest of us lot) and I hope makes it to the BBQ this year.

This is a legend in the making.

Output shaft won't be that bad once you've split the cases. Give you a chance to see what it's like inside.

Might not even need any gaskets, I've split cases successfully without replacing them with no oil leaks.

Please don't guess from a dodgy photo as it is only a guess. It runs, starts first time and sounds ok, just like any other 12 year old 125 that has had youths on it.

Just a few bits and TLC really and that sprocket. lol
