It is a 15-20 minute ride to get to work with many roundabouts and turnings, unfortunately my brain will not be able to memorize it ____________________ ESBEBBINGTON |

I can only accept that if you live in Milton-Keynes. |
My reaction to that Andy, was, "You obviously ent never been t' Redditch".. but self evident really, or you'd still be there going round the twenty concentric ring roads, following the route markings that all say "Town Centre -> All other Routes ^"
Young Rider.... if you need a GPS to find your way to work every day.. I think a mobile phone holder is the least of your worries!
But GEEZ is this a 1st world problem, we ow have kids so cosseted by School-Run-Mum mentality that they have never had to go anywhere on their own, or even see what's going on beyond the window of the kiddie carrier, they HAVE to use a smart phone to tell them what to do, when AND how to do it!
Kid; put the phone DOWN.. just for a few minutes.. break the habbit! Go to the petrol station and buy an A-Z map of your town.. paper thing, don't worry if you cant find anywhere to plug i the charger.... READ IT.. copy the 'route' to work, onto a piece of paper.. put it in your pocket. Then, on a quiet sunday afternoon, try to ride to where you got to go... WITHOUT looking at the b't of paper.. when you cant remember what to do next PULL OVER! STOP! and pull the bit of paper out of your pocket to check. Do a bit more, and again, when your memory fails you, STOP and check the paper directions.
If you are HONESTLY have so little confidence and aptitude to trust that you CAN remember the way, REALLY strapping something else to your bike to distract you from what is going on around you, and divert your seriously impaired 'concentration' from the job of dealing with that... a Sat-Nav IS, really just layering up the causes of calamity! Especially if you itend doing this in 'Rush Hour'.
Ride the route, ahead of time, find your way; get a 'feel for it'.. THEN, get up early on your first day, to do it, in the lighter earlier traffic, and pack your breakfast to eat when you get there, in the time you are 'early'.. and a book to take up any spare.
I REALLY think you are tackling the problem here from the wrong end.. ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!

In typical forum fashion, someone asks a question and most replies say that his question is irrelevant and he should try something else!
Which, to be fair, I'm sort of about to do...
OP, I've tried 2 or 3 different <£20 mounting options before realising they're cheap for a reason and are shit. Just don't do it. The only real viable option for less than a tenner is what pinkyfloyd posted, but I'm assuming your tank won't be in front of you on the moped, so you're either getting it stuck over your speedo/clocks or getting creative.
I've seen this topic many a time, so I uploaded a vid of what i've found to be the best solution in terms of quality and cost.
