Have you considered replacing the bulb?

I'm a bit confused as to why one indicator is on constant. He hasn't said but I assume the other side indicators are working correctly.

Does it have two indicator relays or just the one?

When a bulb went kaput on my ninja the other side's indicator was solid until the dodgy bulb was replaced.

I don't know exactly how it works or if it's designed as a troubleshooting mechanism to let you know there's an interruption in the circuit, but yeah the other indicator being constant is a result of that one being popped or dodgy, not as a result of the whole indicator circuit being rekt.

When I have had indicator bulbs go the one working would flash faster than normal.

It's just the relay not getting sufficient draw to electrocute the magic imp that lives inside it enough to get him to flip the switch.

More modern relays use invisible pixies instead with a better work ethic that flash at a constant rate regardless of the draw, whether that's with incandescent or LED bulbs.
