 |

Thinking of getting this Puig screen for my Bandit as it's the only fly screen I like the look of. After a recent long motorway journey, I'd really like a screen.
My question is, how much of a difference would a small screen like that make? |

It depends on the bike, the individual screen and your height and riding position. You may find it works, or you may find the air is directed right at your chest/chin. ____________________ Triumph Daytona 675 track bike + girlfriend's Honda Hornet 600

Going from the standard screen on mine, to a taller screen made a massive difference to me, so I guess any screen would be better than nothing - if it helps to keep the wind pressure off your chest and reduce wind noise. ____________________ Honda Varadero XL125(V8)

I think there are a few small flyscreens that look ok on naked bikes, how much effect they have I'm dubious of though.
I think the whole fun of a big naked bike is having something with the power and grunt to push through the air at 145mph with the owner sat bolt upright and hanging on hard through the wind blast!
That is what I would say makes a hard biker, or one with a strong neck!
Oh and leather jacket, jeans, and dark visor on a Simpson bandit lid, and bodybuilders gym membership should be mandatory for such bikers too! |

It's worth looking at the "Vairo touring" MRA screens. I had one on my Z750 and it worked a treat ____________________ Bye bye Z hello Versys |

I've tried my BMW with and without the 'sports' screen (whatever that means), and the difference is noticeable, but only above 60mph ish. It doesn't have a big surface area but the angle works well to deflect air away from my chest without pushing too much into my head.
