How to spray fairings/tank?

I want to spray my box eye Fazer metallic or plain black not quite decided yet I prefer the look of them in black so where do I start? This will be my first time spraying anything by the way.

I don't have a paint shop just the use of a drive weather looks good for Saturday and Sunday so that is when I intend to get stated with the front mud guard assuming I can purchase whatever I need from a shop and don't have to order off the internet.

Edit- changed my mind I want to spray it metallic orange something like this with a belly pan.

If you talking about using spraycans for the metallic job its not gonna be good at all, big parts are almost impossible doing with spraycans. Smaller parts you can spray and dry up if you have a place without dust, cabin with fan. Use thin layers and remember the real picture comes from the clearcoat. Give it a try with one box on a small part, then you understand how its working.

Steal can of paint, place on top of random garden wall, drive at speed at wall. You know how to do the rest.

This one i painted with can, its still fine after many years. Use 2K spray.

Some have given you a hard time, most deserved some unnecessary.

I've dabbled, having had a father who was genius with Aerosols (he was a chemist and manufactured them), I watched wistfully when he sprayed things. A Morris Marina and a Granada many years ago and stuff since.

Everything I've sprayed has looked crap. If you MUST have a go yourself, plastidip or similar. WHEN you screw it up you can peel it off and start again. In fact if you fancy a change later, peel it off and re-do. Some scoff, but Delboy's garage on youtube, he's done a couple of videos on doing it this way. Therefore, you could do a lot worse than watching some of those and having a go.

That's what I'd do, but then I do have some common sense!
