Not for a Z800, sorry. The PUIGs on my GS seem sturdy enough and took a "lay down" without any fuss - and without damaging anything else.
Oh, if you do fit them, be aware that some insurers do want to know, as they can (apparently) turn some broken plastics and a dented tank into a bent frame and a written off bike.
Not that I've told mine because I expect that I actually believe that they were probably fitted when I got it and what am I, some sort of bike nerd? Aren't they standard equipment? ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

One of my DAS instructors owned a new Z800 which he said he likes..... However, his bike had been in the Kwak garage for weeks due to some common issue/ re-call on his bike? I'm not entirely sure of the details with this but may be worth a check out. I'll bet he got some ribbing of his colleagues because of this as he works in main Honda/Triumph dealers!.
I think Z800 look very nice too! personal taste that one.
Also don't do what I did and get something that you don't really want because the world thinks that thing that you really want is too fast and dangerous for you. I have personally realised this to be a little bit of a fallacy really and if you can't control your throttle you shouldn't be on any bike.
'Beginner' big bike haha. Good marketing ploy to sell commuters to noobs that really wanting sports bikes. Yes I am bitter |

The z750 seat height is about 810mm and that was ideal for me at 5ft 8 and a bit with short legs but the z800 is a smidge higher(834 at a glance) and its heavier I think.
Its easy to do something daft when you can only dab your toe down.Especially if the bike weighs a bit.
Don't let it put you off though if you really like the bike and if you have a garage its easier. But I have to manually move my bike a lot to get it in the back garden and heavy isn't ideal in that situation.
I would really test ride one first because you might find you prefer lighter and lower.
My current bike has a 810mm seat height too but only weighs about 170 and its so much easier than the Kawasaki to move about and feels much lighter cornering, slow turning and when stationary.
I cant see me ever going back to a more weighty bike.
Got to say though the 800 is a fantastic looking bike |

Hi, what is your current bike ? Well I saw this lowering kit online for z800. maybe that would help if the bike feels quite high : https://www.lustracing.co.uk/suspension/kawasaki-z800-lowering-kit.html |

Got a speed four now but that's probably below your price range.
Its a great bike but they stopped making them in 06 I think and you're probably looking at something newer.
I love the bike but if someone offered me a newer z800 I'd take it
If you can lower it ,even just an inch, then that would probably be a good option.Cos it is a very nice bike. |

Is it possible there's a discrepancy between Z800 and Z800e? ____________________ 2014 Yamaha MT-07 ABS Deep Armour
