Anecdotally and from memory, the cam chain tensioners had some weird clockwork-spring arrangement rather than a simple coil spring mechanism and were prone to snapping without warning on the pre 2007 bikes. I don't know if you can replace them with later models.
Swinging arm rots out in the middle same as on the 125/250 models. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
