Tiddler tyres (Ninja 250)

So the Girlfriends little kawaka needs new hoops, the front IRC roadwinner is cracking and the rear Pilot sporty is so square she barely needs the sidestand

The choices from my local bike dealer are..
Michelin Pilot Street Radial
Avon Road rider
And the venerable Bridgestone BT45

She rids at a steady pace and doesn't like to lean the bike over that far (I'm hopeful that a matched pair of confidence inspiring tyres can help here), wants good all weather grip for commuting (so that's the avon out) and long life.
I'm stuck for which to recommend. Never used any of these tyres myself but have heard good things about the BT45, then again Michelin are usually good/great and radial has to be better than bias ply doesn't it??

Other two I have no experience of but I voted BT45 because I have read good things about them.

You might be able to get conti twist SM in that size. However BT45 on mine was enough to ride the bike to the limit everywhere.

Can't speak for the others, but loved the BT45s on my CB500, I found them quite confidence boosting.

The Michelin is the only radial, I'd go with that.

Rear rim is a 3.5" which is within the size range for a 140 width tire, giving a million more options, although I would get professional advice before trying, it might not suit the bike.

I've got two sets of race scrubbed 110/70/17 & 140/70/17 Pirelli diablo rosso 2's for the CBR250RR and I recommend them highly.

Had bt45's on the divvy changed them for .michelin pilot activs.. Far far better tyre than the bridgestones. Get your shop to order some in

Yeah I only clicked on the link in the post, but I know she wont change from the standard tyre size even if there was a way of proving beyond any doubt that it would be better.

Sava/Mitas MC50. They can be had in the correct 110 and 130 sizes.

By far the best tyres I've used on smaller capacity bikes.

They will most likely be the cheapest too. Should be able to get a pair, fitted for around the £100 mark.
